Steampunks Technology: Steam Engine Technology

Steampunks seem to regress into a critical time period when people were more primitive. The steampunks; in fact, have a greater knowledge of technologies of that time period than the people who lived then. Steam generation is not the best method of electrical supply. There are more advanced types of generation. In times of post apocalyptic eras, the steam engines are extremely dangerous. The engines emit huge quantities of heat which is easily detectable at long distances. The engines ghave to be regualed due to the perpetuality of he engines. the engine; if allowed to function continually, will keep going faster until it explodes. Other than that, the engines are a very good source of heat, steam, water, and other cold weather water supplies. An excellent movie about the quasi steampunk generation is "Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome".
